Day 34 (Feb 3rd) of Project 365 A picture of me taking a self portrait. I was lucky to get help from Aushel tonight with focusing... It would of been really hard cause the manual focus wouldn't of been much help on this one since the camera I'm holding isn't on a tripod! Camera I'm holding: 5D Mark II with 15mm Fisheye Camera taking the picture: 7D w/ 100mm f/2.8 IS USM Macro Strobist: Blah.. real tricky since I needed to get the ambient light to get the LCD screen bright enough of the live view. The lights in the background are just on the lowest setting cause I wanted the scenery lights to be lit. They aren't contributing much to the actual pic. I have an Alienbee B800 above me and to the left, 45 degree angle facing me. Another light, 300w, to camera right, facing the ceiling to help fill the room. Shutter speed is at 1/10 and ISO is at 1000!! (yes, a thousand, not one hundred) f/14 100mm. COMMENTS |
