Day 15 of Project 365
Indoor flight using my AR Drone, controlled by my iPad

Colors edited in Lightroom 3, two separate textures added in Photoshop, wojtar-stock.deviantart.com/art/metal-texture-4-60021019 and sepiavision.deviantart.com/art/when-will-it-stop-133056480

I wanted to get the AR Drone partially in motion, so I used a 2 second exposure. The strobes made the ardrone and me freeze, then the 2 second exposure gave the propeller blades and left right motion of the ar drone movement streaks. You can also see slight movement streaks by my hand.

I used a 5D Mark II with a 16-35mm f/2.8L lens at f/18 to get both me and the drone in focus. I have an Alienbee B800 directly above (and a little to camera left) the AR Drone facing down, and another Alienbee B800 directly under the (and to camera right) facing up. I have a strobe to camera left with a shoot through umbrella, facing me (not effecting the light on the drone, only affecting the light on be and the gray back drop). Then I'm using another strobe with barn doors and a grid to camera left, in the far back pointing to my back/side. All lights triggered with RadioPopper JrX
